Masonry Rows Layout

The Canto New Library now includes a Masonry Rows option under 'Configure Display'. Previously, Masonry displayed assets in columns only; you can now switch between Columns and Rows to find the arrangement that best suits your browsing style.

The Rows option is available across albums, folders, and asset views, as well as in search results. All existing sort options remain available when Rows is selected, and your layout preference is saved between sessions.

Please note:

Switching between Columns and Rows resets the view to the top of the asset list.

Grid View

The Canto New Library now includes a 'Grid' view option under 'Configure Display', alongside Masonry and List. Selecting Grid displays assets in a uniform square grid layout, bringing a thumbnail grid experience to the New Library.

All existing sort options and selection behaviors from Masonry are also available in Grid view, and the Details toggle works in the same way. Administrators can set Grid as the default layout in Settings Configuration Options Defaults; individual users can override this through Configure Display, and their preference will persist between sessions.
