Product Hub Detail Page Redesign 

The Product Detail page in the Product Hub has been redesigned. The core functionality remains the same, but the layout and organization have been improved to enhance usability, readability, and efficiency when managing product data and assets. 

The new Product Details experience introduces streamlined access to variants, a fully redesigned Assets tab, and improved layout and organization across the Overview and Data tabs. Structured product data and media management are now more clearly separated for a cleaner, more intuitive workflow.

Overview Tab

The Overview tab provides a structured, high-level snapshot of the product, including parent product visibility, general details (Name, SKU, Created date), product type information, key specs, and a variant selection dropdown.

Variants are now accessed through a dropdown and can be selected directly from the Overview, Data, and Assets tabs. This reduces tab switching, keeps users in context, and allows for faster comparison and review of variants.

Data Tab

The Data tab is where structured product information is viewed and edited. Fields are now organized into clear sections such as General, Product Type Details, Product Specs, and other product-type-specific attributes (e.g., Apparel Specs or Dimensions).

The layout has been reorganized for better readability and editing flow. Sections are more clearly separated, long text fields are easier to manage, and technical specifications are logically grouped. The improved structure makes product information easier to scan and update.

Assets Tab

Assets are now managed in a dedicated Assets tab that includes Product Assets, image attribute groups (such as Shopify and Lifestyle Images), drag-and-drop areas, and clearly labeled “Add Asset” placeholders with visual asset cards.

The dedicated tab and improved layout make media management significantly more intuitive. Drag-and-drop functionality and visual grouping make it easier to assign, organize, and review images, reducing confusion and improving efficiency.
