Canto for InDesign

A new dedicated Canto for InDesign connector is now available, built on Adobe's modern UXP plugin framework. InDesign users now get a first-class Canto experience that is consistent with the existing Canto for Photoshop connector.

• Access your Canto library directly from within InDesign — no browser switching required
• Upload the active document to Canto with a single click, with auto-detection of the currently open file
• Upload a new version of an existing Canto asset without leaving InDesign, using the built-in asset picker
• Built on Adobe UXP for better performance and compatibility with current Adobe hardware and OS platforms

Canto for Photoshop: Improved Upload Experience

The Canto for Photoshop plugin has received a significantly improved file upload experience, eliminating manual file selection and introducing a streamlined new version upload flow. 

• Auto-detection of the active document — the connector now automatically identifies the currently open Photoshop file, so you no longer need to navigate the file system to find the right file
• New "Upload as New Version" flow with an asset picker modal, allowing you to upload directly to an existing Canto asset without leaving Photoshop
