Smarter Relinking in InDesign

When relinking assets using the Canto Adobe Connector's "Assets" tab, it is now easier to choose between relinking all, or relinking only selected items.

Additionally, the Cando Adobe Connector will now recognize if an asset has been locally replaced, allowing you to choose whether to restore the asset from the Main Library, or continue with the replacement.

An Adobe InDesign window, the Canto Adobe Connector is visible - a dialog regarding a replaced file has been highlighted.

Chached file names

To ensure that your workflow is free from interruptions, assets chached by the Canto Adobe Connector will no longer have their file names modified to include an MD5 suffix. Instead, the filenames remain as they are in the Main Library, and the identifying information will be stored in a separate file.

You can download the newest version directly from the Adobe Exchange or via Creative Cloud.
